Dr. Neal Barnard discusses nutrition's effects on the brain and the diet changes that shield the brain from memory loss stroke and Alzheimer's. He is a nutrition researcher and adjunct associate professor of medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine. He is also the president of the nonprofit Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. The lecture is presented in partnership with the Howard County Department of Citizen Services and Office on Aging.
