The Jewish Museum of Maryland presents a full day of cooking crafts music and storytelling. The day will include fish-themed crafts reading fish tales showing fish films and hosting a Gefilte Fish throwdown. Special tours include Smoked Pickled and Poached: A Fish-Lover's Guide to Chosen Food and Ritual Waters of the Lloyd Street Synagogue. From 10 a.m-noon the National Aquarium's conservation team will talk about sustainable fishing. In the afternoon the team from the Brooklyn-based Gefilteria will sample their tasty new take on the traditional Jewish stuffed fish. The Gefilte fish throwdown starts at 2 p.m.
